upsolute-abs,psm warning light

had the upsolute programme installed for abt two weeks now n this morning under hard driving the dreaded warning lights came on with message reading'proceed to workshop"abs, psm failure.turn off the ignition for about an hour and the warning lights went off .under these condition ,is it safe to continue driving the car?spoke to upsolute rep n was told it had nothing to do with the upsolute programme as the functions of the psm n abs were irrelevant to the tuning aspect of it?can someone shed some light into this issue.thanks.

About a year and a half ago, I had an abs/psm failure, with similar messages. Turns out that my Tech-Art coilovers yanked on the abs/psm wiring harness and, in addition to damaging the wiring, damaged the abs pump. It was a $3k+ repair and the dealer would not cover it under warranty. Fortunately, Tech Art had previously acknowledged the shortcoming with its coilover kit and supplemented the kit with a tie to move the wiring harness out of the way (mine was one of the last kits to be shipped sans tie). Therefore, CEC dealt directly with the dealer and I didn't have to pay anything.

Its safe to drive without abs/psm -- just be careful not to lock up the brakes.
