Braking better
Yip, use the Brembo slotted floating up front, here is pic of last set with that hats, just waiting to install another set as Brembo Motorsport have released a spring type bobbin (anti-rattle)

Pagid Oranges are the most abrasive pad I've ever used. They EAT rotors big time on these heavy cars...

Steve, I'm in the middle of shopping rear pads right now and may well end up with blacks on the rear as these guys using them say they provide more balance... But hey, I'm all about maximizing my usage, so I don't know... Can't argue with 15 days on the rears!!!
I heard that PF had a new anti-rattle bobbin setup! Let us know how it goes... Might be in the "brake" retail business myself soon!

Did you get any information on the negative feedback for the EBC yellows?
I switched back to OEM pads now back on the streets again for a while and I notice the loss of bite the OEM's have compared to the EBC's...

I have mere EBC reds and no issues on track at speed...over and over and over and over..
Will go Yellow EBC with my next set.
No they are not pagids, but 100 per end of the car more or less speaks to me.

I just came away from another track weekend (4 days now on the EBC Yellow pads), they held up well, this track has a lot of heavy braking (TWS). As they are wearing down though and curios to try the Pagids, I am going to get Pagids Yellows and use them next month (back at TWS)keeping the EBC's as backup.
Question, are the cheaper 997 GT3 brake ducts,
Right side is 997.341.484.92
Left side is 997.341.483.92
an improvement over stock 996 TT ducts?

Update..
Wish I had stuck to my plan but before the last weekend I had decided to squeeze one more track weekend out of the EBC's and rotors, and switch to Pagids when I was going to replace rotors after. The front pads lasted only one more day. I had the choice of going to Pagids or Performance Friction pads at the track but due to the compound and residue that is left on the rotor from the EBC's was advised there to go with the PF's, the residue would have messd with the Pagids. Switched to the PF's and though they dust like hell they are very good pads, great bite.
Still had the EBC's on the rear, now thinking about replacing them also with PF's and will be talking to a tech about that, they were already suggesting a different compound for the rear to induce some oversteer, the problem I had most was pushing in a couple of corners, one tight one, and one very long fast one.
Comments on mixing compounds front to rear to "modify" the bias on a stock set up??
