Top Gear Tests the Nissan GTR - Stigs time...
Umm.. This was your post in response to mine, you even quoted me in it
As for mag reviews, never said they don't matter, but when you actually get to drive a car, you get to come up with your own informed opinion
It's funny, you expect people to accept what you are saying but you are unwilling to accept anyone elses opinion that is not in line with yours.

If it was made for the track, it wouldn't be so big, would be rwd, wouldn't weigh 4000lbs, or have back seats. Don't be fooled, the GT-R is a Grand Touring car and is made for the road first and foremost.
Nissan had to make it a "numbers generator" or no one would be interested in it
Sorry, but you were disputing my impressions of the car

Here in Singapore 4 GTRs that are owned by my personal friends happen to share their stable with a 430 Scuderia, a 997GT3RS, a 993RS, and a Superleggera respectively. Non share their space with a 996tt. Interestingly, the GTR is their daily driver. In 2 of these cases, the GTR replaced a 996tt. The reasoning for them was that the GTR was seen as a substitute for a 996tt as a daily driver/grand tourer.
In my case I cant afford to keep more than one family car and one sports/GT hence I am keeping the 996tt. Sure it has been modified to the teeth. Sure I am benchmarking its mods to bring it up well against my friends GTRs (in stock form- non of them have any modifications other than the MINES ECU). But I still recognise the amazing thing that Nissan has achieved with the GTR. It has taken the crown from the 997tt in the same way that Honda/Acura did with their NSX over the Ferrari 355 in its day. Will it become a classic- no I dont think so. Just like the NSX never did. But will it kick the pants off a 997tt (let alone a 996tt)? Sure. Is it potentially a better car than the 996tt we all love. I think we have to admit it... we dont have to love the car BUT to say its not a great car without having even driven one... well thats just being a bit too narrow minded even for a forum dedicated to the 996tt...
Just my opinion of course, with flame suit and underpants on...
I am not coming at this with any love for the 996tt, or any porsche for that matter (well maybe a GT3 RS or a classic RSR
)

And my impressions of the car after having driven it were the same as what the Orlando guy had said, so why were you arguing with me and not him?
So in other words your posting on a porsche forum only to be an ***! So which of the previously banned posters are you?
