If your track complains about the RUF exhaust, you may be in trouble. RUF makes one of the quietest (if not the quietest) exhausts on the market, so you may be stuck going back to stock.

Exhaust options
Yet another exhaust-thread... But some new (?) criterias this time:

Important:
Light as possible (want to save weight for the track)
NOT loud.

Would be nice:
no drone
good looking (love the look of my RUF exhaust)

Reason for changing? My RUF exhaust is too loud for my local track Any ideas of a perfect exhaust for me?
MariusL,

We recently introduced a 60mm quiet version of our 70mm Hi-Flow 996TT exhaust. I have owned a RUF and in my opinion our new 60mm quiet verson is quieter than a RUF and does not drone.

Features that meet your criteria are:

35 lbs. - approx 20 lb savings over OEM
exceptional build quality - beautiful welds, etc.
mirror polished stainless steel for fantastic appearance
No drone
Not loud, especially compared to other aftermarket exhausts
straight flow-thru design (no chambers) for maximum power
Re-use OEM tips or any tips designed for OEM exhaust

And as an added bonus - special 6speedonline pricing of $1,750.00 for the system...

I really think this could be what you are looking for...it was introduced exactly for your criteria.

Remember RUF got several versions, and I got the 70mm (not the 60mm which is quieter)
