Christian,

A stock clutch won't work for long, if at all, with those turbos. Plan on a significantly upgraded clutch if you go with the 24/18G's...

christian. i had 25k on my stock clutch when i took it to john at protosport for the 24/18 kit. at that point car was a stage 2 running around 500ish at crank. clutch felt great with no issues. It was never evident that i needed a new clutch with my stage 2 kit.
After installing, and then while testing the new 24/18g package, he told me that at .8 bar, the clutch was significantly slipping.

I ended up going with a sachs motorsport pressure plate and gt2 disc. I didnt upgrade the flywheel since i didnt want the lightweight chatter issues, and wanted to maintain stock like clutch feel. I would recommend this clutch kit for anyone thats running more hp than stock yet wanting to retain stock like feel.

hope this helps.

24/18g turbos, upgraded wastegates, greddy boost controller, 5 bar, and at the time i had evo intake and fabspeed exhaust. proto software for the package as well.

At the time, as john claims, at .8 bar boost, the cluth was slipping to a point where it was super obvious.

at 1.3 bar and 100 octane i dynoed around 520 corrected awhp and alot more torque. id estimate at .8 bar 430awhp..maybe even less. just an estimate. im sure a new stock clutch would be able to handle power at .8 bar, however since it had 25k miles on it...it didnt holdup well.

My stock clutch held in hot weather and slipped occasionally in the cold with ~490-500 whp. Anything about that and you dont have much chance. I would imagine it shouldnt stand a chance with hybrids.

Nice!!! over 500 to the wheels. Hope to be there soon. I will be doing injectors, 5bar FPR, FVD exhaust (already have on), and some kind of K24 turbo (already have, but not on). Had to stop at flash and mufflers do to clutch too.

My clutch lasted 1000 miles post Flash. And remember, the car only had 4800 miles when i flashed her. It started to slip in 4th gear at 1.0 bar.

Stock clutch might last for a little if you ramp the boost in slow.
I have a clutchmaster stage 3 in my car which I love.
So far no slip and my car makes a lot of low end tq since I ramp the boost in fast.
