Aluminum Doors and Hood for 996?!?!

I know they have them for the 993 (used on some of the race cars, and i believe one or two of the street models).
Do they make aluminum doors or hood for the 996 at all?
The doors saved like 80lbs, and i forget how much for the hood.
I remember the doors costing something like $8k if you can find any.

Why would you go with aluminum? Aren't you better of going with carbon? I believe I saw them in the FVD catalog, contact them as they are a board sponsor.

I would question relative safety of the alum doors. They are probably meant to be used with a full cage in place.
