If I reflash the ECU does it automatically clear all fault codes?

Get the codes read before you start playing the guessing game. You can soft reset the codes by disconnecting the battery (if the fault still exists it will come back)...reflashing will not clear the codes.

Even the "over revs" error you get if your redline is 7k in a built engine.....
