Just read in the morning paper that it was Jon Shirley...ex of Microsoft. Paid just over $550k. Don't think it will make a diff to him. He bought it at a charity fund raiser.

If your going to donate to a cause anyway, why not do it in a fashion such as this...Makes sense to me. He got the car at sticker and at the same time donated a "small"portion of what he would anyway in a year. Good for him !

My TT gets about 4-5 MPG (on the track) and probably not much more than 75 miles (on a track) tank.
