Just wanted to chime in and suggest looking at Eastern Catalytic, website found under that name.
They make a nice stainless 3" 100cell metal matrix bullet cat which is fairly inexpensive(around $100 each if you know where to shop) and work very well- I have them on my car and they do a great job of cleaning up the exhaust.
Let me know if you need to know where to get them.

 

Place 100cel cats and you wont have any CEL...+you car will pass emissions and wont be restricted...

 

On certain model BMWs, you can run O2 simulators that eliminate the downstream O2s w/out CEL, and no tapping into the ECU, but not aware of anything like that on the Porsche. This should not be hard to develop, should it?

When you override the ECU for no CEL, is this process reversible? Say you run straight pipes and get tired of it, can you have the rear O2 sensor re-activated?

No performance effect.
