Bluecuda is infamous around these parts
I upgraded my turbos because I came from a Corvette background, with lots of torque all the way through the curve, and the stock 996TT just wasn't doing it for me. If you're satisfied with the power you've got now, I'd leave it stock and do the cosmetics!

For some of us its not just the extra power but the hands on experience of building your own car .....ok it is the extra power.

Oh, ok. I got the impression that you were much much much younger Have you looked at the cost associated with the power upgrades you want vs. the cost of the body kit you want?

I am very impressed with Tony's 16/16g kit. If you can upgrade to k24/18g or even k24/20g and tunning to go along with it. Some will say you will have to upgrade your tourqe converter but I have read mixed reviews on at what power level you need to do that 650-700 crank? It would probably be wise anyhow. To get to 700 crank upgraded fuel rail and injectors are needed.

Who are you kidding?

It will never end. Do them both! DON'T stop untill you run out of money... When you're done with that it's time for guages and audio. I just built my turbo a new garage with a TV.

and when you run out of money just get another job.

It's really about the driving experience, I did it mostly for speed and power. I thought I would leave it stock, I mean hgell, its a 911 turbo, but it's hard to have a turbo and not care about power and performance, to me, it's an oxymoron.

Then there is the ego side of the punk *** smirk from the mod'd WRX/EVO's and Vettes. Its nice to see the surprised look of someone who was unexpectedly and uttlery destroyed. Sure, there is always someone faster, but its few and far between :-)

boca996tt,
I'm 49 (oh no, 50 soon) and with a tip; that didn't stop me. I believe power and look should go hand-to-hand.

Car is auto leave it alone, just do a body kit and be happy with that, that way when you are driving down the street you are the fastest looking.
