Based on the present readings , since your car is also regeared how would you shift (at what RPM) for maximun results.

Wish I lived closer, I'd love to get in on that race, just to watch.
Lets see some video!!!
As for the Z06, they are pretty fast, I raced one on the 401 (for any of you that know toronto) we did a rolling start, i pulled harder then he did, then he actually gained on me, then I finally pulled away once I shifted again.
I'm telling you, those modded Z06's are crazy some of them.

Chad , thanks for the info. You are on the money, when my car is on the power ban it's crazy now (as Roger put's it , before it ran like it had a potato in the exhaust). The last dyno showed maximum HP at around 4200 rpm and maximum torque at 6000 rpm (the run was done in 5th gear). We are putting in a new ECU today and we are going on the dyno again tomorrow. I think you meant to say maximum "torque" @ 4200 and maximum "hp" @ 6000.
In comparing your maximum ranges to my stock internal's motor that recently broke, your maximum torque is in about the same range as mine was. Your maximum hp is really different. It didn't hit maximum hp until 7400 rpm's.
This 6000 rpm maximum sounds like what Duane was saying about his motor. It sounds to me like the turbo's have a real low A/R, that however would not explain the 4200 rpm maximum torque, With a real low A/R ratio I would expect the torque to come on sooner (as boost would be almost instaneous in the lower rpm's). You got me on this one.
Maybe you can find out from your tuner why the maximum hp comes on so low and then drops. What does the hp numbers look like from 6000 to redline?

"The Enzo seemed to me to be the faster car. When we first saw it behind us, we assumed it was the yellow Gallardo (I did not know that there was a Yellow Enzo). We were doing 180mph and it still seemed to be closing up on us. We sped up and up and it still seemed to be catching. As it passed us we were doing 200mph+ (not sure exactly). We sat behing them at 350kph (their words) which is about right, because we had 218mph on the speedo.(for the record.....1.4 Bar and a longer 6th gear)
The beauty of it is, is the fact that the GT2 can sit at 180mph all day long, but the Enzo cannot. We arrived at the Casablanca lunch checkpoint in 1st place, 15 minutes before anyone else. Kimble was second. We over took him 100 miles outside Casablanca. It is fair to say that overtaking Kimble in not an easy thing to do....he is flat out everywhere he goes.
Hats off to Yellow Enzo, he was proper fast...........As long as the car let him.
"Porsche, there is no substitute"
Ps....If you're not a believer, you need to check out the empty, long, straight roads in Morrocco!!"

about the z06, that was on stock tires, it spins till mid third gear, with proper tires i'm sure it would hit 124-125 mph. but the point being is that the ferrari only manage 118 in the quarter but yet kept up with us from a roll, so it would be interesting to see how the enzo fares against xico's sick car.
Hey Dabum, whereabouts are you in toronto, would love to check out that ferrari some day. There are plenty of nice places to speed in toronto, that is what i heard.
P.S: i have a house in richmond hill, my mother lives there i love toronto.

I've got a house in Forest Hill but soon I'll be leaving for Miami since you know how the weather gets here
Yea Toronto has some nice places to open the car up, the 400 going up north is always fun, not very many O.P.P (highway patrol) unless its a long weekend.

XICO,
Having timed my car many times (including just last night), my advice is to make your first run the money run. The turbos will get heat soaked after a sustained max boost run (e.g., 10 seconds), and you will likely run slower on subsequent runs until the turbos cool (which does not occur in a matter of minutes). In contrast, the Enzo will likely run the same on a second run. Therefore, do not boost your car when driving to the "undisclosed location," and make the first run the benchmark.
Take your car out beforehand and determine at what speed your rpms are in the sweet spot, then agree to start the run at that speed.
Heat up your tires before the run in order to improve traction.
Turn off the PSM.
Sharkster's suggestion of a three honk start works well. Assuming the honks are fairly quick, hit the gas just before the third honk, as he almost certainly will (its human nature).
With the HP AND torque you are putting down, you should beat the Enzo, particularly from a roll where your lag is negated. Make us proud!!!

I don't know what kind of driver Julian is. He could be really good and push the Enzo to limits where Xico can't touch him.
Seriously, you boys should rent out Homestead, Moroso, or Sebring for a day. Then we will see who is da man and who has da car.
Racing in a straight doesn't prove $hit IMHO when you have cars of this caliber. Hell, you can get a Mustang and dump MAYBE 20K in it. Give it 800 HP plus. And watch it blow by both these cars before you can say "ASSUCA"
