How on earth can the NSX overheat in just 4 laps, sounds like a cooling problem from the factory. They should have used a GT2 which would have been closer to the Lambo's in power.

I'll be honest here, this doesn't look like very crisp driving to me. The apex, the track out, and the deep braking were pretty unimpressive. Were all of these drivers of similar experience or am I being too critical?

James, I think you're being too critical.

They are top drivers. Remember, all the cars are stock, street cars with the exception of the NSX Type-R, which is set-up for the track.

Also weight is a critical factor:

NSX Type-R: 290hp@ ~2,700lbs.
Porsche 996TT: 410hp@ ~3,500lbs.
Murcielago: 580hp @ ~3,650lbs.
Gallardo: 500hp @ ~3,300lbs.
360 Modena: 400hp @~3,065lbs.
M3 CSL: 360hp @ ~3,050lbs.

Yes that Turbo was a tip, the Murcielago is so hot, I wonder what power that NSX-R has?

this video is irritating me because there is another Best Motoring vid just like this with the 996TT, 360 Modena, R34 Skyline, NSX, and a few others inc. a Lancer EvoVIII and the 996TT kicks the crap out of every car in every catagory: Braking, Acceleration, Lap time, High Speed Run, and a track race. The closest car in the track event to the TT was the EvoVIII!
