Looking for GT2 suspension parts
ryan,
the factory GT2 plates aren't adjustable. if you don't have a set, check out the ones I purchased from AWE. I think there are subtle differences in the types of camber plates required not sure what exactly.

According to Lex at Moton, the 996TT and GT2 C/O packages are identical except that Moton includes a sleeve for the GT2 suspension, due to the fact that it has different uprights(part that mounts to the wheel). Again, according to Lex, the stroke is the same.
As I mentioned before, new camber plates(the piece that goes in the top part of the front wheel well) and the associated hardware is not necessary. The GT2 strut will fit in the 996TT camber plate the same, except will be lacking camber adjustability the GT2 has.
So it looks like I need some locking rings and lower spring perches. Please contact me if you have any. The front lower spring inner diameter is 2 3/8ths.
Some have asked why waste your time, just buy some new Pss9/10's. I happen to have some GT2 C/O laying around and am just trying to make it work. I need to get rid of the stock strut and H&R lowering spring setup, and get something that doesn't handle like a turd in a punch bowl
.
Thanks to all that have helped so far, and I hope this thread will serve as good info for the future.

!!!If comparing Moton front dampers for the GT-2 vs the 996, there isn't an intrinsic difference in the bodies supplied, but the GT-2 parts are usually built with droop limiters internally, that limit the total suspension extension. I say usually, since Moton will build pretty much any configuration you want.
The stock GT-2 damper body looks to be movable in the bottom clamp, so if it's long enough, it might be able to accommodate the higher mounting point needed on the TT. I think you'll need new front sway bar drop links as well, since the mounting point will be different on the new struts. Also, as Oak shows in those pictures, the AWD strut tops are angled differently, to accommodate the struts' driveshaft clearance. You might want to confirm the damper length and droop before buying too many parts! =)
Those look a lot like the MODE units I'm getting ready to install this weekend.

Because of Ike I've had to put things on hold. I think it's down to locking rings spring perches and sway bar link holders for the front C/O's. Thanks for checking, Mad Power!
