Hoosier tire problem - Resolved!!
Hoosier tire problem - Resolved!!
I wrote a couple of weeks back about a problem I had with some Hoosier rear tires. Recap: I bought them in April, and ran them a couple of sessions at Mid-Ohio and they spun on the rims. I had them rebalanced at the track, and they spun again. I ran tham again for a couple of sessions in August, and had a similar problem. Then they wouldn't hold air - they were leaking all around the bead on one side.
I bought another pair of rears, and about a week ago, I sent these back to Tire Rack on their dime for shipping. I got a note from them today that they were crediting me $622 for the pair.
I have to say that is great customer service both on the part of Tire Rack, and on the part of Hoosier, who no doubt took the hit for the tires.
What a pleasant surprise!!
Jon
BTW - I ran the new ones for 1.5 days at RoadAmerica last weekend with no issues.
