Gauge cluster questions.....Needles dead

I swapped out my face gauges this weekend. It was an easy job.

Remove cluster from dash - 2 screws 4 connectors
Remove gauges from surround - 2 screws
Seperate cluster - 2 screws 2 tabs 2 clips
Lift needles with a fork (old BMW cluster trick)
Pop the center O ring and lift off the face
Replace with new face and reassemble.

The only things that are not working are the far left 2 needles (Voltage and Speedo). Digital speedo works and the cruise light etc. It is just the needles that do not work.

I double checked to make sure they were not put back on to firm. I did the work on a static safe bench. The fuses look to be fine.

Anyone have any suggestions?

That happened to me when I had my faces changed. Actually the same gauges (Speedo and Volt).

You are going to have open the cluster and get to the white box behind the gauges open and realign the little spring and close the box again. Also be very careful when you press down the needles because you will pop them out again.

IT'S A PAIN IN THE ***!
