Any performance upgrades for GT2's ?

In the USA people get easily 600hp with stock K24's and a chip...Haven't you heard that before? Back in the day that was one of the first things I learned from this forum

Same tuners and their customers claim that stock 977 Turbo with stock VTG's and 600hp+++ is no problem at all...

Depending on dynos etc. this is true.

BUT good thing we know (at least I have experienced) how these perform in real life...The horsepower amounts are exaggareted. Now if some says that it's dyno-proven...is it on MAHA dyno or engine dyno and with pump gas...I doubt...

Ps. for the original poster: I recommend a small power increase like the guys above. But first go for a proper suspension like KW or similar. And a lot of tracking with the car, as you know, once going real fast with it, things might get dangerous...(and tracking the GT2 beast is best you can do with your pants on )

Agreed on both accounts... Suspension was the best thing for this car, it makes all of the power usable and gives a new meaning to confidence while pushing the car near it's limits (well upper limits compared to Matt/930man LOL)

Congrats on the GT2, we should meet up sometime!

it seems the horse they use for measurements are much different in size. I would love to have 600hp with just a flash. hahahah.... maybe not.

Depends on what you really want from the car. I'd agree with some of the other posters that you should invest more in optimizing the suspension setup for more GT3RS-like behavior. 600hp is plenty with these cars and is easily achieved. Some like a bit more(me included) but you can definitely go into overkill with power and lose the balance that make GT2's fantastic road and track cars. Significantly higher performance levels are certainly achievable but come with some compromise and can change the overall goodness of the car. That's why most suggest keeping mods to a minimum as the car is so right from the start with just very minor tweeks. You can't go wrong with a conservative approach.

I hate how the euro market talks in crank HP while everyone else talks in WHEEL HP.

Thanks for all the info. I wasnt aware of all these mods but i will start with the basics, flashing the ecu & diverters. After that I will slowly make more additions as needed..
I will get some pictures up..

If you want to keep the car close to stock like I did, the only things I would do is have a good re-flash done on the computer, I had mine done by Prototech in Pompano Florida. I sent it to them and had it back in a couple of days, its easy to take out and just mail the whole thing to them. And I would put on a good set of waste gate actuators, I got mine from evo. I don't think you get much from the exhaust except a drone and I don't care what anyone tells you they all drone except stock. In my case I actually lost mph in the 1/4 mile with different exhaust. With just those couple of mods my car ran 10.83 at 130mph with drag radials and 11.1's with street tires in August and Sept heat.

Jamie, are these sub 11s times done with race fuel? what boost do you drive?
Is the rest of your car stock or lighter?

Pump gas at 1.2 bar, the car is a little heavier than stock as it has a stainless Porsche roll bar.
