Titan Motorsports Project 996TT Official Build Thread
I'm going to start looking into more front downforce as soon as I get the conversion done. It's definitely been a plan but it's been quite rewarding to do. As for the rear wing, my original intent for adding it was the Texas Mile, making sure I can keep the rear planted. For the first few track sessions I'm going to try and set it up more "flat" and adjust the pitch as i get more comftorable. We have a local road course that I can do some testing on, but I've got to get our new KW Clubsports on the car and dialed in, hopefully I can get out there 1-2 more times before Roebling to get things figured out. My driving still has a long way to go as well, but with more track experiance and an interest in learning and keeping an open mind we'll get there.
Setting the wing up "flat" might not be the best idea. You will have less down force than a stock GT2 wing. I would think it best to at least try to produce, as closely as possible, the rear DF of a GT2. Hopefully that would balance what you're doing to the front.
That's what I meant to say, more of a "stock like" downforce rather than getting really aggressive with it. Still need to work on the suspension and more front downforce for the track.
Car should be started today if all goes as planned. The GT2 bumper got the best of me and after about 3-4 shipments from Suncoast, I think we've got it all sorted out. Also got a host of other mods completed all at once. Will be working with Tony @ EPL this week to fine tune the setup with the new 1,000cc injectors. Should be fun!
We had the car out this weekend at a local car show Cars for the Cure in Lake Mary, FL. We just got the car running in time and also installed our new KW Suspension. We've got a few details left to finish such as a final tune by Tony @ EPL and a corner balance and alignment. We've also got a GMG Rollbar and Status racing seats on the way to help keep things safe when we're out on the track. The car was very well received at the jam packed show, and looks very aggressive with it's new lowered stance, gt2 front end, and MA Shaw track wing setup. I'm anxious to get things wrapped up in the next few weeks so we can begin testing the car for TX2K9 in March.

If all goes as planned I'll be heading out there next week sometime for an alignment. Lost a drive belt yesterday and the coolant reservoir decided to start leaking so waiting on both of those to show up and get put in along with the cage so I can corner balance and align her.
A few of us will be out there, wearing Titan apparel. I'll likely bring my 08 M3, Bottle will be in a black 335i, Wes has a few cars - porsche, e46 M3, etc.
Definetely lets meet up

I'm sorry you took me seriously. I was being facetious. I mean really now, how many camo turbos might there be at the track on any given day?
