aftermarket exhaust boost

What bar is typical to expect from a TT X50 with just an aftermarket exhaust ? Do different exhausts provide higher numbers? The car is not chipped.

Around 20HP... (depending on the unit)

Someone made a Power Point presentation with a list of all the available 996 Turbo exhausts, and how much peak HP they provide....

The power will come on sooner as the turbos sppol up quicker. You will notice this much more than the increase in peak HP.

My exhaust has 70mm pipes and 100 cell cats, and the boost comes on much sooner. Maximum boost is up 0.1 bar. This is on a non-X50 Turbo, but I would expect the same results with an X50.

Thanks, but I am more interested in what bar-pressure you can consistently obtain with an aftermarket exhaust (without a chip ).

Thanks Dock, just 0.1 bar? I thought it would be more.
