All I did was add an FVD flash and the thing is fast as stink.
I had been a previous C2 owner and had been investigating for months.
This is my take on the "S" options :
- Ceramic brakes are great if you want to track it. For the street, the big reds are stellar.
- K24 turbos will give you an advantage in top speed. Not necessarily for stop light sprints though. K16 spools faster.

Up to you to decide what it's worth to you.
Every time I drive mine...it puts a smile on my face.
We have the same exact car except that mine is an 05 Turbo S and has the sport techno rims.

microboby is infamous around these parts
Is it right that 993 Turbo's is what is considered by the Pursits as the last Turbo? , The engines were air cooled back then? , I remember I test drove a 993 Turbo S in 1997 for and asking price of $220,000 which was far away from my budget but the sales guy still let me do it and It change my life , after that ride I always said that you do not know the perception of speed until you ride a Porsche Turbo. Some how the 996 Turbo feels underpowered now for me
