Treated My TT to A Cøcktail
I felt the impact when stock- much more significant with the UMW tune.
Although I have a 100 octane tune, the regular UMW tune shows DRAMATIC improvement with even 50-50 100:91 (cali crap).
As mentioned above, the DME will pull timing with 91 octane, even more in the heat- 96 octane just results in less pull.
All (decent) programs have the ability to adjust to some degree for varying octane- I believe even the stock. I suspect, however, that once you get past 95 or so, the stock maps cannot wring any more benefit from the octane.

Eugene, what town are you talking about? I even went to the Conoco Phillips web site and can't find anything that looks like Suno or Andrade.
I have UMW's turbo's and tune (well currently working on the exact tune, not done yet). Anyway, I was logging some pulls to send to UMW with 91 octane crap gas in Denver. I was told that the DME is pulling timing because of the fuel. So I decided to add about 4 gallons of 100 to the remaining 12 gallons of 91. The difference was huge. It basically only brought the octane level to 93, but that was enough for me to physically notice the difference. Probably going to more may not have made the difference but the DME is not pulling timing to save the engine so it definitely works. and this was not even the race file.
I dont need to change from program to program at the track just put 112 in and let er rip! HUGE difference.
correct software is the answer, a stock car or an ECU not tuned to higher octane you will get nothing out of your coctail.
Hey Donny, haven't heard from you for awhile. How's your TTS running? I still haven't yet been to a track; haven't gotten the permission from the "boss" yet.
