Tim,

I thought the X73 were motor mounts.

The picture is the transmission mount. I replaced mine as part of identifying excess driveline play. last year, I had to replace the transmission mounts (broken rubber), The front shaft (also the same type of broken rubber failure at the coupler) and the rear CV joints to tighten things back up.

I don't think a hole in the intake would cause a CEL, the larger problem is that it would suck in dusty air.

thanks sam
i like the FVD setup.. i know the aerospace flex tubing is very durable!
i also love the s-car-go stuff

Tim,

What did you think of the S-Car-Go headers?

Since boost is a measure of the pressure in the intake system I'd say that you probably lost some power due to this.

Hitting the 1.3 bar throttle body shut down @ WOT in 6th almost threw me through the windshield. THAT was a serious reduction in power. If you're suggesting that having more pressure between the turbo's turbines and the throttle body, measured in the Y-Pipe, created less power, I'm not sure I follow your logic. There was no increase in resistance downstream of the pressure gauge. The V-Flow, theoretically, increases air flow upstream and the fatter tubing, after the turbos, allowed for more volume to the throttle body.
