2002 C4S Longevity??
2002 C4S Longevity??
I'm seriously considering the purchase of a 996 c4s with higher mileage (70k+). Obviously I'm going to have a PPI done on any cars I intend to purchase, but I'm wondering how long these engines and transmissions really last. I've heard that 993s were bulletproof yet I routinely see cars for sale with under 100k miles that have had major engine overhauls. I'm just concerned I'll purchase this car and then 2 years from now will have to spend 5-10k on a major service which I don't want to do so I'd like some advice.
Also what would you guys consider fair market value for a 2002 c4s with 70k miles? I'm thinking around 34-35k but I'd like to hear what some of you people paid.
