Tiptronic can take a lot more. I had close to 800hp on my tip with only an external oil cooler that has been tracked hard. Car is now being converted to the Protomotive PE700 kit and I will not be doing anything more to the tip for now. May go with a modified torque converter from EVOM later that is good to 800hp.Todd has reconfirmed to me that there are many cars with this horsepower range on totally standard tip boxes...

If you do a search you will find that one of our 6speed members went with the 9ff modified gearbox, not cheap at all and they were not that easy to deal with if I remember right... best that he chijmes in on whether it was worth it. You can also go to Ricardo to beef it up if you want to spend crazy money on the gearbox but really not needed as far as I know.

Ask STEVO, I think he's working on a solution via new programming. He's somewhere over 600hp and has had a few issues.

I knew that Stevo was looking at an upgraded torque converter, but did not know he was facing issues with the box. Will contact him. Thanks.
