good point...what does it smell like? The problem with the color is blue is close to white. If it is coolant though, you should smell it.

Not to break the post, but I also get a little white smoke on cold starts, only when I leave the car for a while, 3 day or 1 week without starting, and also when I park it on a small incline. Thats normal right?

I changed all the oil out this am. No more smoke! It had slightly more than 10 qts in there because they didnt drain the passenger side plug. Not much came out of the turbo plugs.

Thanks all for your input.

was the oil dirty?
reason why I'm asking is because most guys follow the Porsche oil change schedule.. and I'm wondering if the internals are still dirty after driving 24k km before an oil change.

Your oil level gauge does tell you when it's overfilled also.
So it should have showed a bar over the max line on your cluster?

the oil level gauge didnt show anything. the funny thing is, I go the oil done on sat. this morning when they drained it, it was black again.

I thought so.. that's why I never followed Porsche's schedule.
how much do u drive before you get the oil changed?

That's why I do my every 6 months or 5K.

Most GT3s do the same. Mine blows a cloud of white smoke if I don't drive it for a week.

wouldnt it just keep doing that until the excess oil is all burnt off? is it bad for the engine to overlube?
