I have heard great things about VIR. I have to say I am very excited to get a chance to experience it firsthand. I am glad it is a two day event - that allows me to work into it slowly and not have the urge to try and push. I have not even set a goal for a lap time yet - not sure if I will. This will be my first event with the recently installed coil overs and the first time the car has had a track alignment with negative camber. Should be a lot of fun.

We still have the Roebling Club Race.

Looking forward to next year with probably a Cup Car.

Steve, I can't thank you guys enough... The support given to me has been above and beyond. Most of the parts bought have been due to either "upgrading the brakes" or replacing broken parts due to the groundhog incident. Steve worked closely with me thru out this season on parts, measurements, shims for control arms, schematics, and very fair pricing.

Most recently, when the accumilator backed out on the hydraulic slave, steve worked with me to make sure I got the right water lines to replace the pentosin contaminated lines. I can't think of another "porsche OEM" vendor with the customer service and pricing!

I look forward to the same support next year Steve!

Steve the shifter came in today and I'll instal it in the next few days... I'll give Gunther a hand tomorrow with his accumilator!

Mike

Only been there once, earlier this year, but I think I was in the 2:16s. I think there's a vid of me trying to keep up with Mike-it doesn't last too long.

I'm back in Nov. with the Carolina PCA. I really love VIR. If I recall the sessions are a bit longer than what you usually see at other SE tracks (30 min v 20 or 25) and you usually have the option to run on Friday (advanced Solo), making it a 3 day event.

This weekend RATL!

Mike - VIR is AWESOME. I have to give it the nod over Road America. Both great courses but VIR is more technical and a blast to drive. I wish I had more than the two days there to learn it better. There are several areas of the track that you slowly increase your speeds and never seem to find the limit. Hopefully I can make a return trip next year some time. It is worth the 2500 mile round trip.

Eric
