the vid says the car had issues with the tires and i remember reading somewhere else where the suspension was not setup well. whats up with this?

 

yup, what a away to represent porsche. With a car that can't even run with a stocker.

 

I guess my problem here is that we can't give him a pass after hammering the GT-R for the 'Ring runs with "possible" cheater tires and aggressive alignment specs...

If you KNOW you're going to compete with other tuners, and you KNOW that it has a chance of being reported in a car magazine, you'd THINK that the proper alignment would have been done and proper tires would have been installed.

I'm not representing a shop or business, but if it were me, I damned sure would have had the car sorted before going to a "tuner" shoot-out!

haha, i don't think CEC really cares to win againt the GTR. he knows people who buy the TechArt GT Street don't go online and look up videos before buying =P

I disagree. If I see a techart car getting it's *** handed to it by a heavier car with supposedly less horspower, I will go shop elsewhere to another tuner.

Forums are a good way to find out and here we are talking about it with the video. You don't think that video will make a difference? I do.

If you're going to compete, and then lose, it doesn't seem like you should make excuses...We'd hammer the GT-R, so I'll damned sure hammer THAT car.
