Steve that (325/30) will rub. The 305/30's are usually larger than most 315's. It will effect your abs a tiny bit but help you with grip (contact patch) and gearing.

Try the suspension thing first. 235/315 should be fine.

i think my rear rim is 12" if not 12.5" BECAUSE, my 315 toyo tire has a streched sidewall

if i rolled the fender.. would i be set with a 325 30 ?

Here is what I would do. First of all the Toyo is a little smaller than say a Michelin. I would measure the wheel and see in fact what size it is. It's most likely a 11.5-12.0. If you are like me you won't rest till you know. Maybe buy a set of 325's and try it. Worst case you can sell them but you will at least know.

Go to the tire manufacturer site and get measurements on the different tires. You will see different over all diameters, section widths and recommended rim widths. With this info you can see if it will work on the rim. As for the car you can roll like crazy and get another 1/4-3/8 inch. I know a lot of track guys including myself who run an 18x12 with a 335-30-18 Hoosier. I had to roll the fenders and use a 1/4 inch spacer to get the tire off the turbo to inter-cooler pipes. That is actually your biggest set-back which is why you need to roll and go outward.

FYI the Hoosier I got to work has the following measurements from Tirerack (top one):

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...e1=yes&place=2

This is a MPSC 325/30/19 (top one):

I have 2 sets of wheels. Both are running 315/25/19's on the rear with 235/35/19's front. Both are 8.5 fronts while my Champion's are 11.5 rear and my Zone's are 12 rear.

I'm running the exact same tire set up with Zone's. Car is lowered with PPS 10's with the rear fender lips rolled. No rubbing.

I have Techart 19"wheels with Sport Conti 235 front and 325/25 rear in my GT2. I read your post about how your car feels. I do not feel comfortable with my GT2 over 170 mph. I have driven in my old RUF Turbo R (993TT based) at 207 mph on the Autobahn and in my RUF RCT Evo (964 based) at 205 mph on the Autobahn in Germany but the GT2 does not feel the same. I have spoken with people at Weissach about how the car feels and all of them suggest that I throw away the 19" wheels and put back the 18"wheels. BTW, I have driven a friend's GT2 with 18"wheels on the Autobahn at 200 mph and the car felt much better than my GT2.

Though it isn't wider, a 295-30-19 will work with minor rubbing at FULL compression. Mine only rubs in the left rear (my fat a$$ brings it down) and the tire is 26.1" tall which is a little over 1" taller than stock.

steve, on a second note, you're absolutely sure it's not a rim or an out of balance tire? do you get that same feeling when you're on your stock rims/tires?

TAndujar that is very interesting...I believe it. It is hard to part with 19's.

Steve I did not even relize as I responded how huge that rear 325-30-19 would be. It will look like a hot rod! Or the Munsters car! Maybe stick with 315/25/19 or 305/30/19 (due to rwd) unless you go to 18".
