A very good friend of mine is looking for a 996 Carrera and we found one in Bloomfield, NJ at a non-porsche dealership that she likes a lot. Before we make a trek down there to look at it and negotiate a sale, I was hoping maybe one of you guys with some mechanical knowledge wouldn't mind taking a quick look at it for me. Its a 5hr drive for me and I hate to get all the way there just to find out its a total rat that has been beat to hell. I'm not looking for a full inspection, just a quick once-over so I know what I'm dealing with...
