Its actually a concern related to the template, not the images, and only occurs in IE... we are fixing it

Good point... that is why you are the pros. I just use that image resize script on my Vivid Racing Forums because it messes the template.

All this along with the constant bombardment of advertisement imbeded in the threads.

It's long past informative and helpful information and just plain annoying.

This is just the first of many changes that will occur when a company like Internet Brands starts buying up forums....the primary purpose is revenue generation....no big secret really. Are you really shocked? Obviously they didn't buy up the forums as a non-profit venture....so the folks will either have to suck it up or move onto some other forum....or start dropping off and make a statement to the folks who run it...and by run it I don't mean the site Administrators....they do what the folks who own it tell them. The folks who own it do marketing surveys and psychological assessments to see what works and what doesn't. Most of the changes will occur subtly....sort of sneak it by you to begin with until you end up with something like some of the car magazines that are 90 % ads interspersed with a story or two. The old days are over. Welcome to the world of the amalgomated forums.

Run firefox and use AdBlock its a simple as that to not see the ads. I do use the vendors here but not because of some 45x45 pixel ad.

Yep, what he said. And no, none of us should be surprised at all about this. It was only a matter of time....

This site is definitely going overboard. That's what happens when commercial interests buy and slowly destroy an enthusiast site.

We don't need to be force fed mods. We're modaholics. Lay off and we may stick around and buy stuff.

Here is my take on it,I am a paying member over at rennlist,If i had to pay here with out all of the adds I would do it in a heart beat, I guess instead of the members paying for it, someone does.....thats where the vendors come in. Don't get me wrong I am not crazy about the new look and the way the vendors are all over the place , but I would rather this then no 6speed at all.
