I agree with you they should gp back the way it used to be.

What do you mean "selling out in the future...??" It's already sold to Internet Brands...and insofar as your, mine, or anyone else's opinon goes, it really doesn't count. The folks who invest in buying up these websites do for profit...they could care less that you don't like a particular layout...or that a Lambo is a marquis car on a Porsche forum. Bottom line is that the only thing that makes an impact is accounts receivable. If the ads keep bringing in revenue...the site continues to operate the way IB thinks it should....if the revenues drop off, they may do something to try to keep the buying public happy, but othrwise, they just sell it off to some other company. IB policy seems to be ....like it or lump it. Tough nuts...I can just see the CEO listening to the *****ing and asking his secretary...."Where in the hell did you put my Duly Noted stamp?"

Falken is infamous around these parts
The only thing i dont like is that for some reason the list of site sponsors on the left isnt integrated beside the text in the forums and thus must be scrolled through everytime i go to a new page...WTF! That is the most annoying thing i've ever come across on a forum. are they going to fix that eventually? is it the same for everyone? or is my computer just crazy?

Guys much of what you say is true..Just as much said is not...There is always griping on any and every forum. it's the nature of the beast.

I also do not like the ads on the left and the new look isn't doing it for me either..

We are doing our best working with the people at IB to make this site better..As far as content and activity, I think it's pretty great.

I do agree some vendors have gotten out of control promoting their products in ways that interfere with the way things should be going..

Stay tuned and don't give up..Post in the Site suggestions threads please..

There are two reasons to have members:
1. Create 'content' for the site and increases traffic.
2. Buy stuff from vendors.

Anything negative about vendors or modding in general is not desirable. creating an environment where people feel modding is safe, cheap, easy- or that 'everyone is doing it' is highly desirable.

The only reason to not allow vendors total control is that we will all leave quickly. Their challenge is balancing vendor demands against member satisfaction.

A...

PS EZ...you don't think vendors have a large impact? Vivid is giving free proudct in exchange for positive posts from 'independent' members.... OK with you?
Ard

It's not true about the bannings. Bannings are far and few between. That's a fact.

As far as your allegations about Vivid offering free product for positive posts, thats a serious allegation and it will be looked into. Anymore specific information on that would be helpful. If there is no proof then it's simply 'heresay' and not fair to post as 'fact'.

If this site is not fixed in the next week, i'm done. Most of us have busy schedules and we don't have time to scroll down every time we look at a post. 6 speed has been a great site, but i (and many others) just can't do it anymore. Hopefully, they fix it, because i like this site. However, there are other sites (like teamspeed) that are less painful to navigate.
