Factory Exhaust

Does anybody know what this bung is for on the factory exhaust? My car came with straight pipes on it, so I have no idea what this is for. I looked under the car and could not find anything.

Supposedly used to check EGT for EU smog or factory testing. (forget which one it was...)

Thanks, Does anybody know the size of the plug? The aftermarket exhaust that was on there when I bought it did not have it. I called Porsche in Oklahoma City, and they didn't show a part number or anything. Thanks in advance.

That is where the O2 sensors screw in. Look up posts by me KellyT where I did a DIY on replacing my OEM exhaust for an RPI. It will explain it all.
