Thanks for the compliment! Those wheels were on my car when I bought it a few months ago. I really like the wheels too. I think the 997tt wheels give the car a more aggressive look.

congrats welcome to the club. I also went from an M3 to a 996 turbo.

 

Buy an extended warranty if you don't have one. Mine has paid for itself the first year and I don't abuse the car.

how does the 996tt compare to the m3?

 

I've never owned a turbo car before...so I certainly welcome the feeling of sudden power after 3500rpm. P-car is more raw...simply put, it's build for performance. What it lacks is interior design (they obviously fixed it with the 997), but I find the interior in the P-cars a level below BMW/Benz. Ofcourse, I'm just stating the obvious. Rear seats are unseatable. trunk space is lacking... the car is not very pratical at all.

but then again, if I wanted a pratical car, I wouldn't be driving this.

Bottomline, the porsche is super fun to drive. but I wouldn't use it for a daily driver. I have my other BMW for that.
