Tim that is something you may want to consider as you wont be able to go over 1.4 safely. and plus you have a built motor man that way you can take full advantage of it.

I ran out of fuel @ 657rwhp (21psi or so and I let out when it hit 13:1 a/f this was on my 3071's), since then I have added a fuel pump and now I'm in the 11s up top, and LOW LOW 12s (sometimes in the midrange) even at 24psi (on my 3076's).

Tim ya it only makes sence bro i mean its the only peice missing from the puzzle ..after that you are complete and then some with the built bottom end. its a piggyback. next to the other , then you pass the waires through the firewall to the drivers side rear back panels and wire in the relay so it turns on when the car is on and your done.

Do all Proto's intakes keep the DVs on the Y-pipe?
I thought i'd seen some moved to the ICs?

I'd rather keep them on the pipe like you have Tim

Tim - you said the 20g's didn't flow properly with the stock piping

Can you tell me how did the 20g's compare to the 18g's when you still had stock piping fitted?

Just wondering, as i might go for the 20g's but may not change the intakes straight away

Were the 20s still better than the 18s with the stock piping, but didn't reach their full potential? - or were they just bad news?

Do not do the 20g's with stock piping.. with the i lost almost 100whp(560hp to 450hp) when i went from 18g to 20 g with stock piping... now with the new intake i put down 622whp on a base tune

Damn!

I would have thought the 20s might have been nominally better than the 18s but not much

I wouldn't have thought the power would just drop

It's good that you are able to share your experiances - theory only seems to get you so far

I was thinking about going for a "standard" k24/18g setup but also upgrading the fuelling and 20g's....

Wasn't going to do the intake until later

Guess it's all or nothing then
