Wastegate vacuum hose help! Part No

I want to replace the Wastegate Vacuum hose (both)... I can either order OEM or use an alternative... I have checked Parts PDF anf PET and it does not list a part number... does anyone know if it available? Or does anyone have the hose internal diameter so I can purchase an alternative. Thanks

It looks fun replacing..... most recomend lowering the motor a few inches to get some room to work with. Why are you changing it? Have you run a pressure test to see if you have a leak? You can check it right from the connection from the boost frequency valve. One line that splits of at a tee then goes behind the motor to each wastgate. Pressure test first.....12-14psi

There is none on my spare motor which is on a crate at the moment... I could strip one from the motor that will be coming out but rather have everything prepped on spare so easy swap (less stripping etc) plus it will be new.

Now that makes sense. Make sure you replace the plastic T connector as well. Look for all parts to hold to the most extreme heat.....this is where German plastic usually fails.

Thanks mate... also looked (got PET) it list it as 720** (I think... can't be bothered checking again... lol) what it looks like is one hose for all (not molded) and these figures must have something to do with length... bizarre! call Porsche Monday.

Cheers anyway

Staff@RPM is infamous around these parts
May I suggest that you make sure you use a silicone vacuum line to do all this. I would recommend that you use the line that is made by Purosil. Purosil makes a vacuum line that is blue in colr, is all silicone, is extremely plyable so that you can make tight radius turns without crimping, can handle tremendous hear whereas you can have it tied to the header and it will not burn and crack, and it has a burst pressure of over 1500 psi. It is costly (about $3.00 a foot depending on the diameter) but it is also the best vacuum line available. It is SO much better than all the other silicone vacuum line on the market. If you are interested in getting it we can supply it to you by the foot. Give me a call at (516) 870-0351 or send me a private message.

Thanks-
-Craig
