You'd have to be a sucker to pay that much for that car. Mclaren F1 maybe.

Or better yet a new GT3 new GT2 new TT and new CGT and a little pocket change to put gas in all of them.

That's funny. They bidding on their own auction?

Seen the car in person and I just don't get the appeal of the thing. Most people couldn't distinguish it from the SL and the peformance numbers certainly don't justify the price. So, what's the big deal?

I believe that was the car we saw at Crystal Cove this morning. MSRP was $450K

Why would anyone pay double the MSRP for a car that is used? If I bought a car of that caliber, I would pay MSRP or not get it...and it better not have 57 undocumented miles on it.
