What's the best way to remove a Clear Bra?

I need to remove a yellowing clear bra from a bumper that will be repainted. When I heat it with a heat gun and try to scrape it it melts. Any easier way?

TwnSpn is infamous around these parts
I use a heat gun at low heat and peel. If the bra has "crystalized" plastic razorblade or bondo spreader works best.

I took mine off after leaving the car outside under the hot mid-day sun of Los Angeles in the summer time. I started with one corner and slowly peeled away. Came off nice and easy with no residue.

Maybe the heat gun is too hot. Maybe if you held a space heater to it...

I did the same thing as above. It just peeled off in one piece (the stuff is THICK). I had to use a decent amount of Goo Gone to get the glue off though. I had 3M installed on my car.

You are using WAY to much heat. It just takes a little. A hairdryer or steamer will work better for you.
