bbs mag are light, and they may not bend, but they can crack...

chris: Wilber just finished his first prototype set for the Cayenne... I think he wants to test it out first.

18" lightweight should be coming by year end.

I love my Work wheels, however, and don't see any reason to change them!

Wilber does not have a website as of yet... it is in the works, as is the formation of his new tuning company.

In the interim, you can look up some of his products on http://www.imec.co.jp or http://www.imec-yokohama.com

He is the exclusive importer of IMEC products. He also custom fabricates his own parts for special applications.

Not a viable alternative if longevity is your major concern, IMHO. Watt, just start avoiding all those pot holes you like to run over -- I know you "aim" for them.

why have you chosen cracking over bending? just figure if you're gonna have to replace them anyway you may as well go with the lightest possible?

Another question, and i don't know how viable this is on the GT2 but have you ever considered going to a larger diameter tire? This would offer extra protection for your new mag wheels and at the same time in effect lengthen the gearing for your high speed runs.

Watt, just wait for the ching bling jigmobile wheels. I think they will be worth the wait.

I'm sorry, but in my opinion, Fikse's just don't look "clean."

Another wheel to consider is the BBS LM ACQ (aircraft quality aluminum), it is a Japan market only wheel but you know where to go for japanese ****.

i'm going to check out jack's fikses and see, i don't really care what they look like as long as they are light and dont fail -- otherwise i will go for wilbur's jig wheels.. it's another year tho' right?

Sharky -

How do you like them for drag racing? I'm more of a canyon carver, not a big drag racer, but, in the event I ever have a run in with a Viper or Ferrari, I don't wont to bog at the line and sit there waiting for the car to go...
