Could someone explain how to disconnect the front drive shaft in order to dyno a 996tt. Do you have to remove the bellypan? Do you disconnect the cardon shaft or remove it entirely? Any diagrams would be useful. Thanks

Remove the center pan first. From there you will want to undo the 4 15mm nuts holding the tranny support to the bogy. once those are off pull the 15mm bolts on the side. This will allow the plate to drop. Once you have that out of the way the driveshaft needs to be removed. You will see 3 15mm bolts in the unit. Undo all three and remove them. Now gently pull the driveshaft away from the tranny. You may need to pry it slightly to do so. Once done then simply pull it out of the front diff. The front diff is splined so it just pops out.

Don't forget to reinstall the plate before the dyno.
