667 SAE adjusted at 1.5 bars

Dynoed the new set up today. Tommy Banh called me at the last minute yesterday to dyno today, so the car still had about 2 gallons of pump in it. I only had 3 gallons of race gas (Sunoco maximal, leaded w/ motor octane of 114) so I was afraid to turn it up past 1.5.

Car would make close to 700 on pure race gas and 1.6-1.7 bars but I don't want to risk blowing the motor. Guess I will have to be happy w/ 667.

Car has full Garrett GT 3076.63 turbos (AFI headers and TIAL wastegates from Dan's/Vivids' adapter kit) full Protomotive fuel system (MAF, injectors, secondary pump, rails and lines) wed to the EVO intake, S-Cargo carbon fiber secondary intake inlets, EVO IC's, and ATS triple carbo clutch. Tuning was done by Todd at Protomotive

There were some 1K hp Supra guys on hand and they all admited they would trade their 1K for my much hotter 667 car

It looks like the Tommy/Todd/Dan combo is a winner, thanks!

Turn it up

It's definitely crazy what those extra 67hp cost in comparison to a well built K24/18G setup, but I'm sure the differnece shows up where it counts, on the highway

Very nice power level!
Where was boost set when you went low 6's?
I'd expect you're solid into the 5's at this level.

Sean was at the same power when he ran 6.17 but the conditions SUCKED that day. I would anticipate a high 5 for Sean at this power level...

When I get some better conditions I will be below 5.9.

Wes a 24/18 set up ran a 7.2 the day I ran my 6.17 and I put 4 lengths on him on the Mexican I 10. Granted I have a fuel system but the diff is significant in head to head comp.

A Supra that was making 800 ran a 5.49 that day.

Nice numbers Sean! Looking forward to seeing the graph. I still can't decide if I should use my GT30 kit or sell it. Maybe a song to the tune of The Clash's "Should I Stay or Should I Go?" and your dyno plot would help me decide.

Those numbers are bad ***! It really shows how much the weight difference in the GT2 makes vs a regular 996 TT.

But I know a certain K24/18G car that made 687rwhp and went 6.018 60-130. I think it will be even better when the weather gets colder there.

FWIW I made 657rwhp SAE on 1.5bar (22psi) running out of fuel at 5000-5500RPM on 3071/K24's. At the time I had no EVO V-Flow (I'm pretty sure), Stock Intake Tubes, and Fabspeed exhaust. Also that was done in the 90*+ heat of the summer.

As you can tell my dyno graph turns into a rollercoaster after 5k RPM...... Wonder why....

I'm working on getting a Switzer Exhaust and some AFI Headers w/ Wastegates, so I won't have to worry about being super loud anymore. Also a new set of plugs def. needs to go into the car. I think that's what's hurting me the most right now with the car.

Yup, SAE, anything else resulted in lower numbers because of the heat that day. The reason why you only see half of the file name because it is listed as "Red_99_Corvette_021" (21st pull of the dyno that day and I forgot to change the file names). I have it on video somewhere and I think it shows the graph in the video also.
