They are not RC injectors. The RCs were used in the early Stage V cars. They have not been used since.
At the time you guys were doing the Stage V, the largest injector available from RC was 550 cc's. What size are you using now on the GT700?

luting_chen,

It would depend on the boost. Using 91 octane above 1.1 bar is getting a little risky.

I know RC makes some larger injectors....my honda uses 550s I cant see you 600+whp guys using anything less than 1000CC injectors.

i requested todd to give me a specific program for 91...that runs lower boost than normal boost level ^__^... i believe the max boost is 1.1 or 1.2...
i use this program for daily drive... ^^

The stock 996tt uses 420 cc injectors. To get more out of the stock injectors, the tuners have been adding pumps, larger lines and raising the fuel bar pressure. The largest injectors RC currently makes for the 996tt is 750 cc. I am using 1000 cc.

I do not know about Honda, but the Porsche 996tt uses high impedence injectors. The only way around this is a peak load box and low impedence injectors which have a much better selection.

I am running the GT700 package with larger injectors , different Y pipe and larger Throttle body , for the exhaust i went with the Phoenix Cargraphics loud . The car runs really strong . Will dyno on tuesday and will post results then. i had boost leaks which have now been corrected and the car holds steady boost at 1.4 bar

yea hondas also use high impedance saturated injectors. Actually the peak load box is commonly used with the hondas also because a cheap trick people do is make those boxes so you can use the 440cc DSM (mitsubishi eclipse) injectors since they are dirt cheap. Seems you are right though I looked it up and RC still isn't making higher flow than 550cc for high impedance injectors. I know blitz makes an 850cc high impedance though. BTW thanks for not flaming me when I said I drive a honda on a porsche board...just been browsing because I absolutely love the cars.

Holy effing ****...

First off Todd gave us mucho horsepower with his stage XI wallys in the H2. The torque was insane in that thing... Some people lost their dinner and Fred lost his shirt...

On a serious note, the injectors Todd sent for the 750 pack made a huge huge difference. Putting in the fuel pump and lines etc.... soon. Garrett's programming is matched to those and what a difference. No more lean situations, maxxing out the injector duty cycles etc... I can't wait to complete the full thing soon but needless to say Fred's an my car run really darn strong and we're not even finished yet. Some of the new stuff I saw at the show is really trick.

I would say the 630rwhp is on 100 octane. I have the GT 750 and got 669rwhp with the 100 octane program. I believe my car did 620rwhp on the 94 program and 570 on the 91 program. I have yet to use anything but 100 octane but the abilty to switch is very handy.

Is it easy for you to find 100? How much a gallon?

NoMercy,

It sounds like what they are doing is changing the timing/boost for the different octane.

Gary, There is a place about 8 miles from my house that sells 100 out of the pump ... $4.00 a gallon.

CJV, You are probably right.

I don't believe the 996tt uses 420cc injectors. If you go to RC Engineering's web site, you can calculate the required sizes.
Injector Sizing
At BFSC of .6 and a duty cycle of 80%, you need 555cc injectors for the stock motor!. Even at 100% and 5bar of fuel pressure, you need 343cc for stock and 376 for GT2. Can you shed some light on this? Surely Porsche built more in more reserve than this?
