GT700

I have it. Upgraded from Stage 4GTR. I also upgraded to stage3 clutch and lightweigt flywheel at the same time. I think the GT700 was need for some of the GTR kits as it addressed some fuel injection issues.

What are the fuel injection issues with the 4GT?

That is correct. The 700 uses the same turbos as the GT.

GT700

Yes, the GT700 uses the same turbos as the Stage4GT. The GT700 uses larger fuel injectors and upgraded fuel pump plus new programming. I noticed that the 700 does not pull the 1.4bar
that the GT and typically only goes to 1.2- 1.3bar max. This is probably a good thing. It definitely feels stronger and has no flat spot at 5k rpm. This is backed up by by the stronger and flatter dyno curves. I even swapped my EP Stage 2loud with the Fabspeeed SS after showing a significant power improvement in back to back dyno runs on the GT700 system. Although some have done it, I would not go beyond this level without upgrading my rods and associated hardware given what RUF and Chad have seen at these power levels. Note also that the GT700 requires 93 octane min. I was able to run 91oct. (I'm in Cal.) previously with my IBE switcher program.

The injectors are made by RC Engineering. They are located in the LA Area. They cost $95.00 apiece directly from RC Engineering.

RC Injector versus Stock 996tt injector.

Craig,

I was answering your post and hit "edit" instead of "quote" by mistake. I tried to correct it and deleated it by accident.

You said Todd (EVO) doesn't use RC injectors any more. I replied.

Craig

So Craig, what are they using now? Unless I saw them I wouldn't believe it. They denied using them before. At the last shootout when Buddy was having problems blowing apart his intake, parts were removed and low and behold a red labeled RC Engineering injector materialized. It wasn't suppose to be there. hmmmmm.

I apologize for the screw up.

Chad,
They are not RC injectors. The RCs were used in the early Stage V cars. They have not been used since.

Stephen,

I'll believe it when I see it and I have one that I will be seeing in about a week. I'll announce what I find out then.

Actually, it isn't a real big deal. The 700 crank hp is about 630 rwhp. We were attaining that on stock injectors, although they were at their limits. The larger injectors are definitely a plus.
