How much did you pay for your used 996TT?
As some already know I got mine yesterday (1/24)
1.) Price Paid 41k
2.) 01 w 23,XXX miles
3.) All stock w/ light wood interior package
4.) Dealer original asking price 48,998 though they dropped it to 44,998 the day I went in to deal so really $3,998 off
5.) No warranty, probably not going to get one either, not a DD car so I don't think the warranty is worth it in this case
I think we are close to the bottom on this market for a while, they will continue to drop but I think the big hits are prettywell gone now

Wow, what a price - great job with the purchase!

FWIW here is the link to the ebay auction that was up for the car I bought and it has way more pics.

I think my market may be slightly lower as demand for cars like this is not very high around here and to get decent $$ at auction it would have to go to Dallas. Probaby also didn't hurt that it wasn't flagged as a turbo in the ebay auction.
Also per my sales guys this was the dealership GM's personal car so it was almost like dealing with private party since they were selling the car on his behalf.

Wow...this is also a great deal (for an 03 no less). Although my purchase was among the lowest prices I've seen (38.5 private party), it had relatively high miles (55), and it did need tires and a clutch within a few weeks after purchase, so really I consider that I paid low 40's.

03 X50 purchased Feb 07 with 34k miles. (Now on 51k)
£52k paid with no 'official warranty' but did include full service, new tyres, discs and pads all around.
Had the 2nd gear popping out and the broker covered it herself. PHEW!
I considered selling it given the amount it's dropped so far and first time fatherhood (due Friday), but we took it on our honeymoon last year across the Pyrenees and it was faultless so we're keeping it and finally plan to start modifying it....slowly.

I'm shopping for a 996TT for the spring and watched this 2003 Turbo with 57,000 miles go for $35,7000 on ebay.

About 45% more than it's worth today, 18 months after I bought it! I have to admit, I felt pretty smart taking some profits out of the stock market back in August 2007 to buy a car. However , it seems the car has declined about as much as the stock market over that same timeframe. Oh well, at least I've been able to drive the car!!
