I got nailed even with the V1 on. I was coming over a hill and the State Trooper used the new "Instant On" to get me. A new system that stay's off until an object moves in front of it, so always be on the lookout.

And the V1 has saved me from about 5 speed traps on the way home from mammoth last year.
the key is that you can't be the only one on the road for miles on end.
you need the radar to go off a few miles ahead of you to get a warning.
on my way up to mammoth on a weekday, i was the first to leave the town of mojave, leading a pack of other cars, my v1 set off, but it was me getting tagged.
V1 is the best, no doubt, no matter what what studies escort and whoever publishes it.... the arrows for direction of the threat is priceless.
