Mike Valentine's V1 Saved My ****

I know you guys have heard this stuff before but without my V1 (hard wired by Kirby@Akkurat) Fred, Collin, Kirby, Robyn and myself would be facing some rather nast **** fines from our friendly CHP officers. On the way back from the German Autofest we were caravaning up the 101 going anywhere from XXmph to XXXmph and there were at least 10 speed traps set up. I have never seen so many in one drive, it was insane. Nevertheless the V1 gave us ample warning to slow down each time. So much warning that other cars began following us because it was so obviously as 5 Porsches instantly slowed down all at the exact same time to 65mph everytime we were warned by the V1. We even had one occasion where a Camaro CHP sneaked up and came from behind with his KA but the arrows took care of that.

The V1 is an essential mod. I'm not condoning speeding, since I never ever ever even dream of speeding and you should still drive safely and be considerate to others but my 4 years clean driving record continues knock on wood (or the V1).

Not that it really matters but there was a single false alarm on the entire 430mile journey.

Good job to the Valentine 1 guys.

I second that! The V1 saved YOU guys...I was the only lawful one driving the speed limit all the way. I am a good boy, an angel.

Hold on, Shank... time for 6Speedonline Group Buy? C'mon, V1... become a sponsor, Shank by himself is enough business, not to mention there's still the rest of us 6speeders!

I think I could use one as well. GP sounds good. I drive way too fast, and my eye radar doesn't work to well at night.

I had one of those in my wife's car and she always used to ask me where the cops were coming from. I would like "ummm"... We tested it out one time and the range always seemed slightly worse on it...

Yes the V1 did seem that good. I was just amazed at how much warning sharky's car gave me before I see a black-n-white do a fly-by. After 2-3 times, there's no way I'd want to be near the front of the pack.

Group buy would be great!

Hehe!

Hmm a groupe buy would be a good thing. I'd get another one. Heck we could do a "group" remote install at the shop too. Kirby rocks at it....
