Exclamation cgt

what is the REAL price of the cgt W/O options? (not like we should be optioned to death like regular Porsches)??
to justify this car, all one needs to do is look at the SLR,
which is very "edgy" and "modern"-- not a good combo for someting that initially (in 2002 dollars ) 1/2 as much as a CGT--
It may be a mildly fair price BUT the CGT is THE most classic ultrasportscar I have seen since the relatively recent 959, Z8, OR Ford GT, pendining on the performance level you are looking for

For me, the SLR is too soft when compared to the CGT. Don't get me wrong, it's a supercar, but at a compromise.

If I were spending that kind of money, which I've thought about, I'd get something really out there. I'm definetly not looking to use it as a daily commuter, so I'd go all out and get something like the CGT.

If I really have that money...I'll go straight to Enzo...hahahahaha
Or get a Pagani Zonda...^___^

Perform much better than CGT and SLR for sure...
And I don't think the money would be a matter if I can afford a CGT...(probably around 400,000), and why not spend a bit more (700,000) for an Enzo, or 500,000 or less for Pagani ^____^ haha
Or Just Get Them All....hahahahaha...

Enzo, McLaren F1, CGT, Zonda, Dauer 962, Koenigsegg, CLK-GTR, etc are supercars... the SLR is just a 3900lbs 5-speed automatic hyped-up expensive Merc with the same HP/torque as their CL65AMG... their CLK-GTR was a supercar but the SLR is just a marketing product for the shinny magazines covers for the masses that can't be remotely compared to the "high-performance" supercars mentioned. End of rant, sorry

ben, lj has a spectacular aura aboutben, lj has a spectacular aura about
ALL options on the CGT are "no cost" options. (ie: the car comes without A/C, stereo/nav, car cover, luggage, but all of that is free if you want it).

the slr is a 1600 kg PIG. less weight costs big. in addition to looking goofy with that mile long nose, the slr is just another luxo barge (coupe) by benz as evidenced by the pork and slush box tranny. and it isn't 1/2 the price of the cgt or even close. slr is $375k euros vs. appx $395k euros for CGT. fwiw, none of the current supercars save for the CGT are open tops which requires even more money and engineering to keep the weight down and provide rigidity while maintaining safety.

"Perform much better than CGT and SLR for sure... "

speak for the slr, not the cgt. the cgt will do everything an enzo will - and then some. don't know about the zonda though.
