What mods do i need to make a k16 car as fast as possible?

We've gone 11.79 @ 116.3 in a bone stock K16 car with backseat and spare removed, and 11.50@122 in the same car with just an EPL flash and straight pipes (spinning). Both where on pump gas.

Nero's car destroys mine that is for sure. He has really pushed the bar for the K16 world, but then again so has Ryan (TXGold) when it comes to the 60-130 home front.

My car was full weight (3650lbs) on 19s, but I still managed a 1.72 60ft so I got the best I could out of my run. I think I had some 104oct. in the car with the race file on. Though I ran the same mph on the pump tune. So it really doesn't mean much I guess.

I don't know why I never got around to putting my P-Box in the car. We've got the car on the lift to start the upgrade process as I speak, hopefully we can continue to push the bar with K24/18Gs. Car should be prepped and ready to go for TX/ Mexico and I'll be at Roebling next month road racing it.

It would be great to see what tunes and other mods all of the above guys had to trap that high.

probably, because at one time or another they have all talked about what they did to their vehicles. When I want to find out what someone did to their car, the first thing I do is search under their name for threads they started, if that doesn't work then I search for threads they posted in and so on. If all else fails and I really want to know what they did, I PM them and ask. Most everyone in here is very cool and will PM you back, just ask all the guys on here I have bugged over the last year.

122 on a flash with stock turbos is excellent.

I believe we got a 123 out of the car as well but the ET wasn't it's best. Track temps are a bit cold here in FL right even though the intake air temps are awesome. Again for these runs we just ran an EPL tune, AWE striaght pipes and 93 octane with a splash of race gas (a precaution I always try to take if we're heading to the track, unless we're specifically going for 93 octane testing or just playing with "street cars"). The car was on 19" PS2s, stock clutch.

I have a similar setup to Titan's test car except I'm waiting for an EPL tune, lol.

Just straight pipes and K&N filter and I'll be taking it to the dyno as soon as I get the flash to see exactly how much power it can make on this stock setup. I think bang for buck this will be the best for me. Any other mods from here on won't see the same kind of $1=horsepower that a FLASH, exhaust, and filter will give you.

what straight pipes are you guys running? Must be really really loud. I am waiting for the EPl tune as well...cant wait to check out my car as the temps get back up from -30F..

Also what does a stock k16 car dyno on an average?

When you staight pipes- no cats/no mufflers? cats/no mufflers?

Here's a list of roughly what I needed to max out my AWD K16 car :
Toyo R888 R-compound tires
ImagineAuto GIAC 1.1bar programming (modified to run at 1.3bar)
Hayward & Scott custom 3" stainless exhaust w 100cell race cats and straight-thru mufflers
EVOM Clubsport Intercoolers and Intercooler Hoses
AP BOV vented to atmos
Custom 997TT-style dual air intake
B&M Short Shift Kit
ImagineAuto carbon/ceramic clutch with Aluminum Flywheel
BMC air filter

And a couple other little odds and ends like dremmeling out intake etc

Car was good for 124mph traps all day w a best of 126.50, 8.16 60-130mph, and a 197mph VMax. Good fun.

mine is fairly fast with these mods euro pipeloud,scargo headers,evo ics,giac flash,forge dvs,evo airbox, (paper filter) evo piping,and 100 octane fuel . with that said i can beat any greyhound bus in town oh and kevine k16s....last i checked i peaked at 1.3 bar
