FVD ecu flash opinions ?

I was searching on our nice forum opinons about FVD ecu flash but didn't find anything.
On their website at http://shop.fvd.de/us/en/Porsche-0/-...stLoad%29.html

Just take a look to their numbers....

STOCK HP : 415hp
FVD flash : 490hp
STOCK torque : 413lbs
FVD flash: 542 lbs

Are u agree with these numbers ? Opinions ? Experiences ?

Thanks !

I initially had a FVD flash with no other mods. Did not feel much difference in power. 415 to 490, definitely did not have that for a flash alone.

My local dealer suggested to install a flashed ECU into my car so I would have no down time, if this is an option for you, beware. You will lose all the security features from the ECU that is matched for your car.

I dont know anything about their flash by itself but their stage 2 and 3 kits seem to really perform well given their advertised hp numbers.

I have the FVD flash and exhaust on my 2002 GT2 for a year now and I am very happy with them. DIY flashing worked without problems. I didn't have it dynoed after the flash (~525PS is claimed by FVD) but I can feel the difference. Fuel consumption seems very reasonable as well. Overall, very reliable upgrade.

My friend just bought a 996TT S cab. No ECU, Exhaust, plenum, TB reached 460HP on dyno dynamics, most conservative dyno in US. Very impressive. Without ECU, amazing power. Remember with ECU you will need other modds to achieve higher results. Intake, Exhaust, headers, plugs, DVs, TB, fuel, etc. Do more research and get a good tune, makes hell of a difference. I've been through 4 sets of programs already. GL

You shoudl really try upgraded wastegates. The car will really wake up with no more boost. It will just not "leak" at the wastegates so the computer will have much tighter control of the boost control.

I have their flash and couldn't be happier. Totally changed my car.
They are also good people to deal with.
From what I understand they have access to the Bosch programmers in the 'motherland'.
Highly recommended.
