Does anybody has exact information, how many of them were produced?

Total GT2 production from 2001 thru 2005 (including North America and ROW) was around 1,100 cars - I have seen the number stated at 963 for 2001-2003and a few more were built in 2004-05, I have seen a number of 1,115 in seperate magazine pieces, but never actually confirmed the number.

The 317 noted above as USA sales is a little different that my records which show for "North American" which includes Canada the number was 305

2002 - 184
2003 - 90
2004 - 24
2005 - 7

Regardless they are pretty rare with a bunch that have been stacked. So if you find a nice low milage one and you can buy it right might be a nice car to own in 15 years. This is the last "monster" 911 with no driver aids other than ABS.

here are the actual numbers
996 GT2 462 HP between 2001 - 2002 963 cars produced and the model with 483 HP between 2003 - 2005 325 cars
