Car looks sweet but I'd much prefer a black mesh grille instead of the silver!

what do you think of the fit on the mashaw gt2 bumper? is it the urethane one? what about the rear spoiler?

i heard it was same guy making the bumper for all the companies and the fit was so-so. as a matter a fact. there is a guy on ebay selling one now who sunk a ton of money into it and got rid of it due to fit. i know the guy who was trying to do the body work on it.

don't get me wrong, your car looks awesome. leave the carbon fiber hood unpainted. looks killer with black.

i'm in the process of changing body parts out as well. just curious, how many hours of prep did they put into the bumper and spoiler?

Looks great Mr. Kram!
Leave the carbon hood as it is but add a silver hood crest.
Like everyone, I think that the silver mesh is a bit over the top and doesn't do any favors to a great looking car.

Man the car looks fantastic! Not a fan of the silver mesh - Def. powder coat the mesh black or take it off- other than that it is awesome!

Great looking setup. Not a fan of Carbon Fiber parts so I will reserve opinion on that. As for the grills, I would take some high temp dull BBQ paint to that (to keep as reserve set). That paint can take some pain, rock chips should not be a problem. Otherwise, looks awesome.

The fit is pretty good. The hood needs a little adjustment, one side is higher by about 3mm. The front bumper fits well, but as Tom at Lucent noticed, the edge where it meets the fender is rounded off. It would look better if someone could fabricrate a sharp edge at that point. I'm looking into it. The rear decklid and spoiler are seemless. I just have to adjust the wing as it not positioned at the angle I would like. Prep work was about 10 hours for the whole deal.

The silver mesh is definately going. I'm searching for black anodized, but I will paint it if I have to.

Silver mesh is OK, you just used mesh that was to smal. If you use larger mesh the silver is not as noticable.

Painting mesh is a problem, the paint will come off since it is almost impossible to prepare the surface right.

Is your mesh glued in from the rear?

car looks good. 25mm spacer, boy that is totally the wrong offset, think you might need an adaptor, cause a 17mm spacer will require a very long bolt.
just use spray paint on the mesh since anodizing will scrap off any ways from rock chips. might want to spray your radiator as well.
i personally would have the CF exterior pieces painted since it looks a bit ricerish. keep the class.

So.......I may have missed it, is that Shaw GT2 bumper Urathane or Glass?.........alot of their stuff is Glass.

You mentioned silver crest for your steering wheel?........an OE Porsche wheel or some other wheel?.......just currious if it's an OE wheel where you may have found the silver plastic crests.

For the rears, a 15mm spacer will get you out 'generaly' in the right area (IMHO) ie. 37mm finished offset......though some would say 30 looks better.......30 or less requires fender prep (if you are set up low).

A shame to have to put 15-20mm spacers on a custom wheel.......just my opin......Techarts are already a pretty heavy wheel (but I should talk )

Yes, all body parts are from MA Shaw.

That was the mesh that came with the bumper, I didn't really choose it. Now that it's all assembled, I will opt for some black screens. The mesh is tied on, not glued.
