UPDATED LIST BELOW.

As Sean posted if you are interested we will meet at the Starbucks in the Sugarland Town Centre at 10:30 a.m. We can roll out at 11:15ish to make sure we get there by noon and Sean and Paulie have time to race for the 12,000th time. If you want to make your way down to the track solo take 288 south and it is on County Rd 48 SOUTH there are two CR48's one is immediately after Highway 6. MSR is off of CR48 South approx 14 miles south of Highway 6. Take a left at the second set of flashing lights after Highway 6. If anyone gets lost of needs directions you can call me 281.725.3075. I'm pretty sure nearly all of you have been out there.

 

Make sure someone has a video camera...we don't wanna here the "he said - she said" later!!!!

 

Just to get you guys excited about the karting ........ This was the last time I was out. All the guys you see drive grand am, porsche cup, or Koni Challenge. With the exception of me! I'm in the red shirt with the silver, yellow, and blue helmet with the tinted visor. The guy in front of me had a pretty solid year racing .... Tony Rivera ..... Ran away with the Porsche cup title this year. Behind me is Steve Ott ..... used to drive Champ Car is now running Grand Am and Porsche Cup this year. Also can turn a wrench like its noones business. With the egos that were out on the track for this event one word describes it ...... absolute Chaos. My ribs were black and blue and everyone raced with absolutely no mercy.

This would be fun for your son...better than soccer

 

He is actually itching to get in a kart. But these ones are a little bit too potent I think for an 11 year old with almost no experience other than the Track 21 types. Plus, all the Americans on his soccer team need his English/Brazilian help! The soccer conflict was this weekend, they are playing in a tournament Sat/Sun. I will probably be coming down to Sugarland/MSR in my friends 2-seater, but if my son really whines enough about it I could perhaps persuede my friend to take their SUV instead and bring my son to watch.. Any other kids potentially going??

 

As I told Paul on the phone the other day. Sean and Paul are going to get schooled on the track!

Ben add my buddy Ben to the list too. He was the first person to take my brother and I carting. He use to go to RoundRock in Austin and drive there every so often. I talked to him about it last night and he said he's down.

Also it's Feb. 1st at Noon right? Should give us late sleepers some time to get some rest LOL!

I talked to a friend who is a browser on the forum, but not a poster (my friend Hendrik). I think he and a friend will be there also. I got a text from him about it last night. Should prove to be a really fun event!

 

What's the limit? I might have 2 others.
